Rainforest Apartment

Two bedroom apartment covering the entire upper floor (1000 sq ft) with stupendous views from over 500 sq ft of covered deck which provides the main living and dining area.

Bedroom 1 has a queen size double bed and looks out over the deck to the ocean and beach. It has storage and hanging space, as well as a chest of drawers and a chair. Bedroom 2 is a medium sized room 12’x 9’, that has two single beds that can be put together on request to make a spacious double. It has access to a small grassy terrace suitable for sitting or stargazing via French doors with wooden slats, with views to the garden and the valley beyond. There is garden up-lighting controlled from a switch in the bedroom, and is the best room in the house to catch the breezes.

The second bedroom was added in 2004 and is lightly furnished with a chair, hanging space, bedside tables and a chest of drawers. The floor is the same beautiful yellow cypress as the rest of Rainforest. Everything in the apartment is new and well appointed. There is a modern and well equipped kitchen (with good quality pots and pans, cutlery, china and glass, toaster, coffee and teapots) and a shower room and toilet. There is also a small security safe for keeping cash, documents and other valuables.

Our intention is to provide for guests a simple yet high standard of living environment. Hot and cold water, quality mattresses, white bed linen, free standing ventilator fan, house towels and mosquito nets are provided to ensure your comfort and well being. Hair dryers and a hammock are provided. There is an abundance of soft lighting controlled by dimmer switches to enable adjustments to meet your needs and mood. Jeanell, our housekeeper, is also available to wash clothes. Towels and bed linen are changed twice per week at the same time as a light clean up.
